Cincinnati Movers Review, Reviewed by Jenny Hodge on 09/26/2011 . As your records will indicate, your firm recently handled my move from Cincinnati to St. Petersburg, FL, in July of this year. This letter is long overdue but I wanted to let you know how pleased I was (and remain) with the service of my move. Scott Warner did a fine job on the estimation, scheduling and handling my questions. Since I had solicited a total of three bids and ultimately selected his, it is clear he knows his business. At the same time, I must say that it is the efforts of Chris Jones that actually delivered the goods (pun intended). In all seriousness, it is one thing to "sell" a service and a completely different thing to actually be the person performing the service. Chris was a consummate professional on all counts. On packing day, Chris and his team wrapped and handled my possessions with extreme care. Chris demonstrated solid and clear leadership of his team, and everyone knew their role. Chris did an excellent job setting everyone's expectations (including mine). On loading day, in addition to all of the standard loading work, Chris took personal responsibility for the disassembly of my baby grand piano and treated it as if it were his own. In fact, my piano left my house with more wrapping and padding than when it was originally delivered to me. To say I was impressed is an understatement. The unloading in St. Petersburg ran like clockwork. Chris and his team were there when they said they would be; again, they were unfailingly polite and competent. Again, Chris took personal ownership of the assembly of my baby grand piano. Overall, what is normally a very stressful and difficult day was actually a very smooth and easy day - because of Chris. Frankly, knowing that Chris would be "managing" my move on both ends really made a difference. It had been a long time since I had done a long distance move and I was nervous about it. The whole process was exactly as Chris said it would be. As he left, I joked that if I win the lottery, I want him and the rest of the Nelson Markesbery moving team to be my personal movers! You have my explicit permission to use me as a reference for your business because I am an extremely satisfied customer. Rating: 5
Kentucky Movers Review, Reviewed by Kelly McCoy on 01/30/2011 . Doug, Jason, John, and Vince were amazing - worked NONSTOP for 6 hours moving us to our new home. They handled all of our items with care and were very careful to keep both houses free from dirt / mud (it was raining all morning). I highly recommend this company. Rating: 5
Kentucky Movers Reviews, Reviewed by Don B. on 10/18/2010 . I was very impressed by this company. Not only did they keep ahead of the schedule we had prepared, they were deeply concerned and took special care packing many of our one of a kind historical artifacts. If there was any question on how to handle a particular item they always sought my advice before proceeding to pack and move it. We were moved in such an orderly fashion that I was able to resume offering research services the same week the move was completed. I will definitely use Markesbery in the future, and can wholeheartedly recommend them to others. Rating: 5
